On September 17, Vietnam Plas 2025 grandly opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center, bringing together leading enterprises and professional visitors from across the global plastics industry chain. The exhibition hall was bustling with activity and lively exchanges, with Wankai’s booth attracting large crowds and frequent interactions.

As a major player in the global Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) resin industry, Wankai New Materials, together with its subsidiary KaiPuQi Technology, showcased high-quality PET and PETG product solutions at the exhibition and engaged in in-depth discussions with customers and partners from around the world.

After 17 years of development, the company has built 3 million tons/year of bottle-grade PET production capacity. Its products are certified by the EU and FDA, exported to over 100 countries and regions, and have long served world-leading beverage brands such as Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, and Danone. With large-scale production and strict quality control, Wankai has established a trusted global brand image.

At Vietnam Plas 2025, Wankai highlighted a wide range of PET resin products, covering different intrinsic viscosity (IV) ranges to meet diverse application needs. These include water bottle-grade PET WK-801 / WK-801L, hot-fill bottle-grade PET WK-811, oil bottle-grade PET WK-821, CSD bottle-grade PET WK-881 / WK-851, and the specially developed WK-901 for large containers such as 5-gallon bottles. The company also showcased bright PET chips WK-631 for BoPET films and high-end fibers, as well as its PETG product line.

The company also shared its latest achievements in upstream-downstream industry synergy, global sales and supply integration, and sustainable development. Its 1.2 million tons/year natural gas-based MEG project has entered a critical stage, which, once operational, will secure a more stable raw material supply, significantly improve supply chain responsiveness, and support cost reduction and efficiency across the industry chain. At the same time, Wankai is accelerating the implementation of its global sales and supply integration strategy, strengthening overseas market presence.

In addition, Wankai continues to advance green factory construction, energy-saving and emission reduction initiatives, while exploring chemical recycling and bio-based PEF solutions, underscoring its commitment to innovation and sustainability.
