Strengthen Safety Defenses & Empower Green Development: Wankai New Materials Concludes 2026 Safety Production Month Campaign

2026-07-05
Safety serves as the bedrock of sustainable PET manufacturing, while eco-compliance drives high-quality corporate growth.

Throughout June 2026, Wankai New Materials rolled out a full suite of activities for our annual Safety Production Month, guided by the core tenet: Everyone prioritizes safety, everyone masters emergency response. Centered on standardized manufacturing, environmental compliance and risk mitigation, we delivered structured training, hands-on emergency simulations and technical skill contests to elevate on-site management standards, employee emergency awareness and environmental risk control across our PET production facilities.

Tiered Specialized Training Lays Solid Safety Foundations

We deployed targeted, all-staff training programs covering key production and environmental management workflows.

Our environmental compliance workshops covered ecological risk prevention, standardized pollutant control and global environmental regulatory standards, reinforcing Wankai New Materials’ primary accountability for sustainable production. Specialized training for high-risk operations was delivered to frontline teams, with a focus on hot work, confined space entry and other hazardous procedures. We refined protocols for risk identification, work permit administration and on-site supervision to eliminate operational hazards at the source.

Additional upskilling sessions were hosted for workshop team leaders, combining technical expertise with standardized site management practices to form the frontline safeguard of safe workshop production.

Standardized Drills Mitigate Production & Environmental Hazards

To regulate end-to-end production risk control, Wankai New Materials hosted briefings and live drills for our production change management system. Real-world simulations of process, equipment and administrative adjustments clarified uniform protocols for cross-department approval, risk evaluation and issue rectification, pre-empting safety and environmental risks stemming from production modifications.

We also ran dedicated environmental emergency drills replicating critical incident response workflows, including leak containment, pollutant recovery, emergency reporting and full site containment. These live exercises significantly boosted cross-team agility and coordination when handling unforeseen environmental incidents.

Competitions & Hands-On Practice Hone Emergency Expertise

We adopt a practice-driven approach to safety education, combining training with interactive competitions for all personnel.

An online safety knowledge contest covered international industrial safety codes, fire prevention standards and emergency protocols, enabling all employees to consolidate theoretical safety expertise and foster a proactive safety culture on the production floor.

On-site safety skill competitions featured practical high-stakes challenges such as fire hose target practice, open-flame fire suppression and self-contained breathing apparatus operation. All participants followed international safety protocols to refine fire-fighting and self-rescue capabilities, continuously improving on-site emergency proficiency.

Building on training and competition outcomes, a full-scale integrated emergency drill was conducted to validate the feasibility of our emergency response framework, streamline inter-department coordination and benchmark the proficiency of our dedicated emergency response team, refining our agile, collaborative emergency management system.

Long-Term Commitment to Safe, Green Manufacturing

Safety and environmental stewardship represent permanent strategic priorities for Wankai New Materials, rather than short-term seasonal initiatives.

Moving forward, Wankai New Materials will institutionalize best practices derived from Safety Production Month into our daily operational workflows. We will intensify hazard inspections, refined on-site supervision, environmental remediation and emergency infrastructure development under stricter operational benchmarks.

Upholding the parallel development of secure operations and low-carbon green manufacturing, we will consistently uphold safety and environmental compliance thresholds, delivering robust, reliable support for sustainable, high-quality cooperation with global partners.
